Our shared professional background is in festival operations, peer-to-peer fundraising programs, endurance sporting events, and organizational management.
Together, we’ve combined that experience to help nonprofits, municipalities, and corporate brands create & build event programs that connect with the groups they’re trying to serve, delivering professional, end-to-end event production, and tailored consulting packages, for any event budget.
MEET CHRIS & GREG
Greg’s Background
Co-founder Greg Sroda’s career path spans work in corporate operations, program management, and events production for companies and nonprofits. Greg developed a passion for supporting nonprofit work through fundraising events, which led him to executive leadership positions at the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. As executive director of the AIDS LifeCycle, Greg managed SFAF’s highly visible fundraising event, in which thousands of cyclists and volunteers bike from San Francisco to Los Angeles, raising millions to provide critical health and wellness services for people with HIV/AIDS. His tenure at SFAF sparked a passion for producing events that bring communities together for a cause, creating meaningful programming that inspires people to engage, support and give back.
Chris’ Background
Co-founder Chris Carrington started his career in special events in 2005, producing music festivals & concerts in college. After moving to Los Angeles in 2007, Chris opened up an event company called Bulldog Entertainment Group, a small consultancy that he held until 2014. Chris was hired as the Production Director for AIDS/LifeCycle, where he served for 9 years before departing in December of 2022 to co-found CG Events.
